Fire and Safety Openings

Safety Inspectors (6 needed)
High School graduate with a minimum of 5 years experience on the same job.  Conduct safety and fire inspections in the plant, housing compound, and blending stations.  Ensure a safe work environment, availability, and readiness of the safety and fire equipment.
Fire Fighting Specialists
BS in an applicable field as fire or safety engineering or an AS degree in a related field and 10 years experience and must be a present fire department training officer.  Must know all aspects of fire training which utilize fire apparatus/equipment.  Previous experience in Power Plants is a plus.
Safety Specialist
High School graduate with a minimum of 10 years experience on the same job.  Degree is preferred. Supervise and direct work of the Safety Inspector, Fire Captains, and the Safety and Fire Technicians.
Safety Engineer
Degree in Engineering with Safety Qualifications and minimum 5 years broad based process plant related safety experience in the petrochemical or refining industry.  The selected candidate will be a technical leader with Sadaf in the area of Health, Safety, Environment, Fire Protection and Hygiene disciplines.  Must know the criticality of applying Process Safety Management (PSM) concepts to ongoing operating plant activities.  In-depth knowledge in the area of Quantitative Risk Analysis, Process Safety, HAZOP or HAZAN studies, Fire Prevention Engineering and Training, Development of Safety Procedures, Training and Awareness Programs, Performance Monitoring, Plant Safety Audits and Incident Investigations. 
Industrial Hygienist
Registered and/or Certified Industrial Hygienist (BIOH or equivalent) with minimum 15 years experience in the Industrial Hygiene field.   Degree/certification in Industrial/Occupational hygiene is required.  Should be a certified Radiation Officer. Thorough knowledge with Occupational/Industrial hygiene aspects of  a large petrochemical chemical plant / refinery operation. Familiarity with health risk assessment techniques like COSHH, HRA or equivalent and monitoring programs.  Develop health risk assessment for  operating units.  Execute base line exposure monitoring and establish longer term compliance exposure monitoring.  Assures compliance with Saudi/US/European standards. Provide assurance to management that Industrial Hygiene meets all established criteria.  Coach, train and develop local industrial hygiene staff.  Assures  operations with highest international standards, in compliance with rules, regulations, and guidelines of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and meet Industrial hygiene policies and practices.  Ability to work in culturally different environment.
